Saturday 6th April sees Sauchiehall Street venues Nice ‘n’ Sleazy’s, Garage Attic Bar and The Variety Bar host the all-day event held in collaboration between thriving Scottish promoters Crowded Flat and Scottish Music Collective.
The 18+ event arranged by the DIY promoters boasts an array of established and upcoming Scottish artists in the form of Parliamo, Tina Sandwich, Majesty Palm, San Jose, The Zebecks and many others – with more acts still to be announced.
The eclectic lineup caters to a variety of music fans, with a mix of feel-good DJ’s, mellow indie rockers and chaotic punks, with plenty of infectious melodies and mesmerising guitar licks to be enjoyed throughout the whole day.
Both of the independent promoters have been gaining momentum across Scotland not only through their sell-out shows, but also within their management rosters. Crowded Flat’s Bottle Rockets were victorious in achieving a Scottish Alternative Music Award (SAMA) for ‘Best Rock/ Alternative Act’ in December 2023 against a panel of formidable Scottish acts.
Crowded Flat’s talent roster also includes Pinc Wafer, Lacuna, Bandit Country and Leisureland, who are all acts that regularly perform at fantastic venues in Glasgow such as King Tut’s Wah Wah Hut. Leisureland and Pinc Wafer will both be performing on April 6th.
Glaswegian punks Soapbox and San Jose form the acts managed by Scottish Music Collective who have both been making a name for themselves in their own right, with sold-out headline shows and impressive support slots.
The riotous pair take to the stage with fellow Glaswegian powerhouses Gallus at Edinburgh’s Mash House on February 18th as part of the ‘Live In Scotland’ tour, a DF Concerts show in arrangement with Marshall Live. Check out San Jose at ‘House Guest’ on the 6th April.
